For as long as I can remember, I have been a musician.  After almost 10 years of childhood piano lessons, I attended West Chester University as a music/piano major.  I graduated with a degree in music performance (piano, of course) but also took classes in teaching children, such as an early education major would take to achieve a teaching degree.

During my time at college, I began to teach the percussion section at our local high school and did so for the next six years. I taught the bells, xylophone, marimba, vibes, etc. I also started teaching piano lessons in my freshman year.  In addition, I was performing in a wedding band too.  What a great experience, to be able to have these vehicles to share my music!  Now, family life has called and I mostly stick to teaching, church organ, and cocktail piano.

I hope my passion for teaching music is evident to my students in each of our lessons together.  When you are given a gift, it is best enjoyed when you share it.
